Beyond the classroom, we take our mission to the heart of communities through Community Outreaches. Here, we engage parents, youth, single mothers, religious leaders, and local influencers who play a vital role in shaping society.
What We Do in Communities:
• Organize awareness sessions on gender equality, sexuality education, reproductive health, and trauma healing. • Provide counseling and guidance to parents and guardians on how to support children in matters of growth and sexuality. • Empower vulnerable groups (single mothers, widows, youth, and school dropouts) with skills for sustainable development, knowledge and resources to live dignified lives. • Foster dialogue between men, women, and youth to break harmful cultural practices and promote equality.
Our Impact:
Through these outreaches, GESE Africa Uganda has brought together entire villages to discuss sensitive but life-saving topics. Many parents and community members have testified to improved communication with their children, reduced stigma around health issues, and stronger bonds within families.
