GESE Africa Uganda was founded in 2020 by Kabaka Kennedy Roland after an online exchange with the founders of GESE Africa e.V in Germany. From that conversation grew a vision: to bring gender equality and sexuality education to the children and young adolescents of Uganda’s most remote and poorest communities.
In many villages, myths and silence still surround issues of sexuality, leaving young people vulnerable to teenage pregnancies, early marriages, and HIV/AIDS. We exist to break the silence, empower children with knowledge, and create safe spaces where they can dream of a brighter future.
With love, courage, and partnerships, we are reaching schools and communities in Uganda giving knowledge, hope, education, and dignity to the next generation.
