Students love this interactive experience, and it empowers them to reflect on their own learning journey while helping us deliver stronger, more meaningful lessons.
At GESE Africa Uganda, we believe that meaningful learning begins with truly understanding our students. That is why we carry out Digital Impact Tracking as part of every school or community lesson.
Using smartphones and tablets connected to the internet, we invite students to share their thoughts before we begin teaching. This gives us a clear picture of what they already know about key topics such as gender equality, sexuality education, health, and empowerment. After each session, we return to the same simple digital questions, allowing students to reflect on what they have learned and giving us real evidence of the knowledge they have gained.
This process is more than just data collection — it is an opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning. They enjoy the interactive approach, the chance to use technology, and the feeling that their opinions truly matter. For us as educators, Digital Impact Tracking provides valuable feedback, showing where our lessons are effective and where we can improve, ensuring that every session is stronger than the last.
By combining education with technology, GESE Africa Uganda is making learning more engaging, transparent, and impactful. Our goal is to empower students while continuously improving the quality of the lessons we deliver, helping communities move closer to equality, knowledge, and opportunity.
